SEO Analyst | Full Time

The SEO Analyst is responsible for creating, managing, and growing the organic search presences of our multifamily clients. The SEO Specialist can quickly understand, support, and communicate SEO initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of clients. An emphasis on extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of clients is a must.

The SEO Anaylst reports to the SEO Manager.

primary responsibilities:

  • Understand the architecture, design, development, and maintenance for innovative, engaging, and informative sites
  • Perform technical site audit to ensure site is search engine friendly for desktop and mobile. Report any issues to dev team to get them fixed
  • Understand web code to ensure quality, content, and readability by search engines
  • Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from Marketing, Product, and Engineering partners to push for technical SEO best practices
  • Develop a strategy for the improvement of organic search ranking and the maximization of ROI
  • Develop and prioritize keywords to attract target audience
  • Monitor and analyze SEO metrics
  • Build systems and best practices to ensure that all content is optimal for SEO
  • Communicate the performance of process improvements to the SEO Manager
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and developments and report changes as needed
  • Look for and create opportunities to increase domain authority through backlinks, blogs, press releases, and other mediums
  • Executing on-page SEO elements and mapping strategies. Example: title tag, description, headings, internal linking, Alt tags, etc.
  • Understand, implement, and manage local listings and citation submissions
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients

required knowledge/skills/abilities:

  • Minimum 5 Years of technical Search Engine Optimization experience
  • Experience providing SEO strategy and results to clients, up to and including CMO’s
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Google Custom Search, Google Search Console and Google Analytics and experience creating and maintaining project schedules using project management systems
  • Leadership abilities
  • Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as robots.txt, metadata and site speed optimization to raise website performance
  • Experience using Screaming Frog, SEMRush, MOZ, and other SEO tools
  • Adequate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience working in fast paced, deadline driven role
  • Knowledge of the Internet and prior experience utilizing the web as a marketing vehicle
  • Demonstrated success at end-to-end execution of internet marketing strategies
  • Prior experience in multi-family or single family residential a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at using (or similar), Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong project management skills
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
