Social Media Specialist | Full Time

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and growing social media profiles specifically for the multifamily industry. The Social Media Specialist can quickly understand, support, and communicate initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of clients. An emphasis on extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of clients is a must.

The Social Media Specialist reports to the Sr. Digital Advertising Manager.


primary responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-channel social media marketing campaigns and strategies, including local posts, paid social, and engagement campaigns
  • Work with clients, account strategists, and project managers to develop strategic goals during onboarding and throughout the campaign
  • Continually implement new social advertising and engagement best practices
  • Create engaging posts and promotions to achieve desired results
  • Interact with customers and potential customers via social media, in a professional setting
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for engagement
  • Keep pace with social media industry trends
  • Analyze social media and other relevant performance metrics
  • Plan with digital advertising, SEO, content, and creative team to deliver integrated client service

required knowledge/skills/abilities:

  • 1+ year experience managing brand social media campaigns
  • Expertise in Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Experience in social advertising, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and other data analysis tools
  • Outstanding ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Attention-to-detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere with a large portfolio of accounts.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills

preferred knowledge/skills/abilities:

  • Experience with Yelp and/or Yext is a plus
  • Image & design editing software experience – Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
  • Facebook Blueprint certified
  • Experience in multifamily housing preferred
  • BS/BA degree preferred
